James Partridge OBE, founder of Changing Faces, came to visit Children of Fire again in February 2011. James survived a car fire when he was 18 years old and set up Changing Faces to tackle public attitudes to disfigurement.
We have known him since about 1998 when he first met burns survivor Dorah as she awaited surgery in the United Kingdom. He is now looking to possibly expand his organisation into South Africa. Through links to Prof Prozesky and Dr Anne Wright, we arranged for James to lecture at the University of the Witwatersrand, to the 4th year medical students, on Friday 18th February 2011.
